In the Faridabad district of Haryana, 3 machines are supposed to be set up at each and every ward for enrolling the left out people for their respective UID cards. This decision was taken in a meeting held here which was headed by Sunita Verma, the ADC. It was revealed in the meeting that the enrolment process was slow due to the lesser number of machines available at the enrolment centres here. People were facing a lot of problems due to this issue.

After facing all these difficulties, now the central government has appointed new company for carrying forward the work of enrolment in this district. When contacted, an official from this company informed that they are surely going to increase the number of machines at the enrolment centres here. Apart from this, the Deputy Mayor has passed the order that at least 3 machines should be set up in each ward for this purpose. Machines will be installed in 15 wards of the district by the company initially. Further, the number of wards will be increased once the work in these 15 wards is over.
