The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) was established on 1 November 1973 as an independent recruitment agency in pursuance of the recommendations of the Gajendragadkar Committee. The eligible candidates satisfying the eligibility criteria given by the firm can start applying.
The board is charged with the responsibility of recruitment of Scientists and to such other posts and services as may be specified by the President, ICAR from time to time through competitive examinations / direct recruitment by selection etc. as the principal mandate to make available the best human resources to man the various positions in ICAR in the country. Recruitment of Deputy Director General, Assistant Directors General, Directors, Project Directors, Project Coordinators, Zonal Coordinators, Join Directors, Heads of division/ Heads of regional station, Principal scientist, training organizers, Senior Scientists etc.

Education Qualification:
- The candidate is expected to have completed Graduation degree or must possess its equivalent qualification from a recognised University.
- Maximum Age: 52 Years
- Good communication skill is mandatory.
- Will be paid a satisfactory wage on a monthly basis.
