A very shocking incident from the industrial city of Haryana i.e. Faridabad has caught the government’s attention. Negligence on the part of the postal department has finally crossed all limits. Earlier there was news that the mail delivery department was not functioning properly in some parts of the country. Due to this reason, a large number of people have not received their Aadhaar cards so far. Lately, the postal department in Faridabad has also shown negligence in the proper and timely distribution of Aadhaar cards in the city.

Around 500 Aadhaar cards were seen floating in a brook in the city and this shows the seriousness of the mail department. The department was bestowed with the simple job of delivering the cards to their respective recipients. But surprisingly they found an easy way to get rid of their responsibility. Approximately 500 cards were seen floating in the Mujesar brook which flows near ward number 4.

These cards belonged to the people residing in ward number 6. The locals informed the Mujesar police regarding this incident and the police took these cards into their custody. Rishi Chaudhary, the senior Hazka leader as well as other officials said that this particular action taken by the mail department shows that they are not serious about the whole distribution process.

Later when the police officials enquired regarding this incident with the local postman, he said in this confession that his cycle was stolen during the night. And along with his cycle, the thief also took away his bag. All those cards were in that bag at that time. He said that the thief must have thrown the contents of his bag into the Mujesar brook. This postman has also lodged a complaint in the Saaran police station regarding his stolen cycle as well as bag. After this investigation got over, the police officials handed over all the cards to the postal department of Faridabad.
